Passion. One word is all that’s needed to sum up the way in which La Cucina di Paola 1985 made it to your table. It all started in Santi Angeli, a small village on the northern side of Montellò in the province of Treviso, with our great-grandparents who came to be known through the noble art of cheesemaking.
The food company proper was launched in 1985 with Paola and Valerio Bolzonello, when their cuisine won over customers in local markets. Years of sacrifice and hard work followed. They sold ready prepared dishes, cheeses, cured meats and other local products from fair to fair as they travelled between local weekly markets.
This is how they made a name for themselves, travelling from Veneto to Friuli in a hired van dating back to 1949. Even in this way, by moving from one village to the next, passion plays the leading role: difficulties are overcome and results are obtained. Especially when this love of good food is accompanied by good ideas.
Ideas that have been developed by their children Francesca, Isaia e Jacopo giving light to a new range of gastronomic products and ready-made dishes. The result? You can taste them on a daily basis with our mouth-watering suggestions.

That's how we started, manning the local markets. In Veneto and Friuli. Because this is where our roots are, our way of cooking and preparing fish (and other) dishes. Development since 1985.
We start with a direct relationship with the customer, controlling the entire supply chain in order to personally select all the products and raw ingredients. Without the need for intermediaries, going directly to the producer. Then we take a step forward. Because that is how it should be. Tradition must be respected, but needs change.
We process the products by hand to ensure the utmost care is taken, while also making the most of new technologies and processing techniques in the industry, which allow us to guarantee high standards of quality and efficiency.
